Saundry Associates, Inc. is a small Florida-based company that owns, develops, operates and manages real estate investments for the primary principals of the Saundry owned real estate enterprises: Kenneth P. Saundry, Sr. and Kenneth P. Saundry, Jr.

Since its inception, Saundry Associates, Inc. has owned, operated, managed and developed over $200 million in real estate properties, primarily in Florida. These successful ventures and investments have included land development and the acquisition and development of income producing residential and commercial real estate properties.

Kenneth P. Saundry, Sr.

Kenneth P. Saundry, Sr. is originally a native of Detroit, Michigan. He was educated in Michigan, and is a World War Two veteran of the U. S. Armed Forces. Mr. and Mrs. Saundry raised their family in Michigan, while Mr. Saundry pursued a successful career in various sales positions. His real estate investment ventures began in Michigan in 1963, where he acquired land for development and investment and apartment properties. In 1970, Mr. Saundry began investing in the Melbourne, Florida area. Eventually, he relocated his residence to Florida to pursue real estate investment opportunities full time. It was there that he founded Saundry Associates, Inc.

Kenneth P. Saundry, Jr.

Kenneth P. Saundry, Jr. graduated with a B. A. from Michigan State University in 1976 and worked in industrial sales until 1978. He relocated his family to Melbourne, Florida and entered into the real estate investment business with Saundry Associates, Inc. He has been actively involved in the commercial real estate investment and development business.

Mr. Saundry is a licensed Florida real estate broker and operates a related real estate brokerage firm called Saundry Associates Realty. This allows him to maintain a presence within the real estate and business communities, and to identify and procure investment properties that serve the mission of Saundry Associates, Inc.

Mr. Saundry’s success is attributed to skill and extensive experience in researching, locating, acquiring and managing real estate development and income properties. Specifically, he has expertise in all areas from market surveys, site selection, concept planning, zoning and permitting, construction supervision, direction of sales and marketing programs, lender negotiation, and “hands on” experience in management of operations at company owned and managed projects.

D. Michael Miller, P. E.

Mike Miller is a 1966 civil engineering graduate of the University of Florida and has almost 40 years of experience in engineering, construction management, and real estate development. Most of this experience has been in Florida. He is a licensed professional engineer and real estate broker in the State of Florida. He owned a civil engineering and surveying company that designed and developed hundreds of residential and commercial sites in Florida, many of them for Saundry Associates, Inc. He later sold his firm and became vice president of Florida’s largest civil engineering firm, supervising projects throughout Florida, Europe and Asia. In addition to development experience, his major construction management positions were at Walt Disney World, Epcot Center, and Universal Studios Florida. He provided quality control, engineering and architectural management services during the construction of these major Florida attractions.

Mr. Miller has a wide range of experience and expertise in all facets of engineering and permitting related to land development. He is responsible for supervising the efforts of the consultants and professionals involved in obtaining the entitlements and permits required for developing our properties.

Denise Sparta

Denise Sparta is our office manager and serves as administrative assistant to Ken Saundry, Jr. She handles all financial and administrative functions for current and proposed projects. She is licensed in Florida as a community association manager and real estate associate.

John K Parkhurst

John Parkhurst received his B.A. degree in the Business Administration from Minnesota State University (formally Mankato State) in 1970. John has been the manager of Holiday Travel Resort since January 1996. Since 1997 Holiday has annually received the highest rating of 5w facilities in 5w recreation from Woodall's North American Campground Directory. John has the distinction of being a CPO. He successfully completed the National Certified Park Operators program in 2000. John is on the FLARVC board of directors representing Central Florida, and will become chairman July of 2006.

Prior to joining Holiday Travel Resort, John was a golf professional in Melbourne Florida.  He has been a member of the PGA since 1984, and his current classification is inactive. Visit his website at www.holidaytravelresort.com.
